Is Spiritualism important to us?

Spiritualism is defined in various ways by all the major and minor religions that exist in the world. These religious preachings have always advocated and stressed on the aspect of spirituality from time immemorial. Now the question is that whether the spiritualism is important to us? If so, then in what way it is very beneficial to mankind. How it is benefitted to the individual and to the world? These questions do arise in the minds of those who consider themselves to be highly educated and well qualified. Sometimes these do haunt in everyone's mind when the individual is completely under pressure or stress.
Ultimately, the methods that are propagated for attaining spiritual maturity is basically in the form of utmost concentration. Whether it is the methods told by a Yoga teacher or a Religious spiritual leader, the basic idea in the methods is training of the mind by utmost unwavering concentration. The methods thus propagated will help in achieving the said objective of unwavering concentration. Now the question is where is this concentration to be consecrated upon? To this the spiritual or a yoga teacher will give an answer as God. The ideology which can be seen here is that God is an omnipotent, omnipresent power who doesn't have any form or shape. The shape or form that one believes in is to be imagined and consecrated for the purpose of pooling of concentration. This leads to the detachment of all the stress and pressures that the individual is experiencing in his daily life activity giving man the most needed benefit of "PEACE OF MIND".
Not only this, the peace resulting from such practices also has great healing power as they help in proper secretions of various hormones, enzymes, etc, which again result in better health of the physical body too. Along with this it makes the mind free from stress, allows to have a better angle of approach resulting in solutions for various petty and major problems that arise in one's daily life.
Hence the practice of spiritual practices will aid in the development of a  peaceful mind, Stressless thought and healthy body of the individual. If this is propagated and accepted by most of the human beings around the world then there will be a beautiful earth to live in as it will result in less greed or a beast like approach and more human like approach. After all irrespective of one's belief on the existence and non-existence of God, everyone aspires for a Healthy Mind and Healthy Body. Thus spiritual maturity is not dependent upon the knowledge and belief of God but is surely the one that gives you a broader and deeper insight of oneself as HUMANS. THUS LET US TAKE A STEP TOWARDS SPIRITUALITY AND LIVE HARMONIOUSLY .............................My e-mail

Relationship of Mind, Spirituality and Body for Ensuring Health

Man is a gross material made from the combination of Mind, Body and Spirit. Unlike any animal that is present on this earth, the spirituality is a factor that has enhanced the human beings with greater approach to Spirit and its manifestations. By birth Man is born in a certain proportion of the three that ensures a balance of these such that he can live and obtain the main purpose of life namely the Salvation or Spiritual maturity. All the three factors are equally important such that the goal is easily achieved. The three components can be equated as three strata of the body namely the Physical or Materialistic Body comprises of the Physical structure of the human being encasing the other two bodies. The second is the Astral Body which is dominated by Mind which enjoys the dual character of nature by segregating it and restructuring it. Lastly the Spiritual or Cosmos body which is full of energy and unabated by any duality of nature.
Among the three the Body form the vehicle for the attainment of spiritual maturity while the Spirit forms the recipient of the benefits gained by the experiences obtained by the body due to its actions. The Mind forms the bridge between the two and along with that usually acts as the filter that segregates the dataobtained from the experiences.
It is to be noted that the Spirit is the reservoir of knowledge as it is the one that has encased the experiences of the past life. Thus it is also the one that provides wisdom based on the past knowledge that it had possessed, of the mind such that it can prompt the body to act accordingly. But usually the mind and the body get carried away blocking the wisdom that the Spirit provides. Thus blocking the pathway for the attainment of Spiritual maturity. This likewise leads to diseases, decaying the physical body and leading the mind feel more stress and fear of pain and sadness rather than experiencing pleasant and happy. Thus these diseases are to be controlled and for that both Mind and Body have to be taken care off. The former is effectively done by the methods of Yoga and meditation while the latter is maintained by Ayurveda. In-fact in Ayurveda the absorption of the concepts of Yoga has made it better and more effective to cater the challenges for Spiritual maturity. After all it is the primary goal of Human Life.....................................CFEIA

Education of Ayurveda Past v/s Present

Today like all other systems of education even Ayurveda has found its way of preaching the knowledge through the formal education system of sitting in a four-walled chamber. This system introduced and disseminated by the British has traversed into every system now. Undoubtedly, a method that gives discipline and stern qualities of the individual but will it give a proper and precise knowledge like the system of the past namely the GURUKULA SYSTEM. In-fact today the bookish knowledge has become very rampant without subdue consideration to the practical utility and demonstration. This is the main drawback of the present system and it is quite evidently reflected in the system of Ayurveda too.
In the Gurukula system of education a teacher and student had the right to choose one another resulting in confidence and obliging nature from both the individuals towards one another. The Guru (Teacher) is devoted to the Shishya (Student) for providing the knowledge whenever it appears necessary while the Shishya (Student) is devoted to Guru to offer any service till he is in the association of the Guru (Teacher) whenever asked for to obtain the clear and complete knowledge. This system gives a clearness in knowledge as the Guru that is selected by the student will undoubtedly be flawless and with good reputation in the theater of operations. Thus the knowledge obtained will also be pure and well built. The practical exposure to the various facets of the work is always continuous and without any distractions.
The present system is not obliged to receive these benefits. Unlike the Gurukula system the students are only taught to be literate. Undoubtedly the system has become quite mechanical in the approach where the teacher is only a speaking instrument that that performs the task of explaining the aspect of the subject. While the student sometimes with or without interest is forced to sit with others for hearing an uncomfortable preaches of the teacher.
It is true that every system has a flaw and benefits. But at the end which system is giving more and precise knowledge is to be taken into consideration. After all, isn't the knowledge that matters than the method that is employed to obtain the same?................................................................CFEIA
